Newark & Sherwood District Council are coordinating the distribution of fruit and vegetables from bountiful allotments and growers. Volunteer drivers will the transport the donated resource to charity projects, food clubs and education settings.
We are proactively trying to work to link allotments and food projects within the area to help strengthen communities, alleviate food waste and increase consumption of healthier, more affordable fresh produce. And we would love you to be part of this new scheme!
